Between us we’ve built outdoor hospitality businesses, run award-winning venues across Sussex, delivered complex engineering projects and led teams through fast growth.
Surf Side brings that together around one idea: a place on the Hove seafront where families, friends and local people spend real time together — on the water and off it.

Founder of Bell Tent Sussex and Glamping Adventures, with a background in renewable energy, sustainable events and outdoor hospitality. A major shareholder in CTEC Energy, a heat recovery company. Chris leads partnerships and the delivery of the physical project.
A startup leader and Managing Director with a focus on strategy, growth and customer experience. An active RNLI crew volunteer, Stephen brings operational discipline and scale readiness.
A hospitality entrepreneur and multi-site operator with two decades building venues across Sussex — country hotels, dining pubs, cafés, music venues and large-scale outdoor events. Jack leads food, drink and guest experience.
Over 23 years of engineering experience and a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers. A principal contractor project manager on multi-million-pound heat recovery and heat pump projects, Paul supports design through to delivery and operation.
