Major Step Forward for Surf Side at Hove Lagoon!
Following positive discussions with Brighton & Hove City Council, the Council has confirmed its willingness to progress a brand-new 20-year lease for our proposed Hove Lagoon development.
We're delighted to share another exciting milestone in the development of Surf Side.
Following positive discussions with Brighton & Hove City Council, the Council has confirmed its willingness to progress a brand-new 20-year lease for our proposed Hove Lagoon development.
The proposed lease would provide the long-term security and expanded site footprint needed to bring our vision to life, including two FlowRider surf machines, a new clubhouse, restaurant and bar, and an exciting range of watersports and family activities.
We're extremely encouraged by the Council's constructive engagement and shared ambition to see Hove Lagoon developed into a vibrant, year-round destination for residents and visitors.
This is an important step towards making Surf Side a reality.
The new lease remains subject to final agreement and Council Cabinet approval, with the development also subject to the necessary planning permissions.
